How to care for your Flower Arrangement
Make sure the container is filled to the brim with water upon receipt and is kept topped up each day thereafter.

If, however, the flowers have been arranged in a water retaining material (which has the property of soaking up water like a sponge) make sure that it is kept damp by adding water to the container each day.

Keep the Arrangement away from draughts and radiators. The cooler the room, the longer the flowers will last.

If in any doubt, consult your florist. He wants your flowers to last well and give you satisfaction.

Caution! Furniture Care
Whilst every care and attention is taken in the
production of this arrangement and container, we advise you to place a table mat or such-like between the container and furniture surfaces etc. in case of leakage.

How to care for Your Roses
Cut the stems and place immediately in DEEP water up to the neck. Leave in a cool place for a "good drink". Arrange in a DEEP vase or again cut stems to suit the vase, allowing for PLENTY of stem in water. DO NOT leave them in a draught, near heat, or in direct sunshine. If the roses should flop at their heads re-cut and plunge the stems only into boiling water for a short time.

Cut one inch off the bottom of soft stemmed flowers with a sharp knife, slantwise. Hard and woody stemmed flowers should be sliced slantwise and one to three inches of bark at the end of the stem scraped away with a sharp knife. The flowers should then be placed in deep water for at least an hour before arranging. Always arrange in a clean container with as deep a depth of water as possible, topping up daily. Remove all leaves which, on arranging, will be below water level. As far as possible avoid putting flowers in draughty or hot locations and keep out of direct sunshine. Should any flower flag, again treat as above.

caring for your... CUT FLOWERS
On receipt of your flowers, unwrap with care.
Add flower food to water in a vase.
Cut the base of the stem, remove any foliage that will be below the water level.
Arrange flowers and place vase away from direct sunlight, radiators and draughts. The cooler the room, the longer the flowers will last.
Change the water at least once a week, remove any faded blooms to encourage buds to open.
Contact your florist as soon as possible if you experience any problems.

caring for your... ROSES
On receipt of your roses, remove the packaging with care.
Bouquet of Roses - remove 1" from the stem end with a sharp knife and cut on the angle. Do not use scissors or crush the stem - this prevents the rose taking up water. Stand in a deep vase filled with water with the flower food added.
Hand Tied bouquet of roses - do not use untie your flowers, cut stems as above and stand in a vase of water with flower food added. Change water in the vase at least once a week.
If the rose head flops, cut off the stem end as above and stand the rose in 1" of boiling water as soon as possible. Keep the roses away from draughts, fruit and radiators, the cooler the room the longer they will last. Contact your florist if you
experience problems.

If your hand-tied is aqua packed with water in
the base, snip the water bag over a sink to release
the water.
Leave the packaging on if desired, or remove with
care but do not untie your flowers. Stand bouquet
in a vase containing water with flower food added
as instructed on the packet. Keep flowers in a
cool, draught free area, out of direct sunlight and
away from fruit.
The cooler the room the longer your flowers will last.
Remove any faded blooms or foliage as soon as
possible. Change water in vase at least once a week.

Your bouquet can be left in its aqua pack for up to 48hrs.
After this the water will need to be changed, so snip the base of the water bag over the sink to release the water.
Remove the lower packaging, the upper gift wrap can be left on if desired, do not untie the flowers.
Fill a vase with tepid water, add the flower food following the instructions on the packet, cut approx. 5cm from the end of the stems, for best results cut stems at an angle.
Stand the Hand Tied Design in the vase.
REMEMBER - Keep flowers in a cool draught free area but out of direct sunlight. The cooler the room, the longer the flowers will last.
Remove any faded blooms or foliage as soon as possible.
Change the water in the vase twice a week.
